Research and Teaching Interests
Molecular crystallography and solid state supramolecular chemistry. In particular, the synthesis and characterisation of molecular solid solutions, or mixed crystals.
Within the Department of Chemical Sciences he teaches Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Chemical Nanotechnology.
Matteo Lusi
Matteo obtained a degree in Chemistry from the University of Bologna and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry From the University of Bristol. He had two postdoc experiences in Stellenbosch University and NYU – Abu Dhabi before moving to Limerick in 2021. In 2021 he directed the 50th edition of the International School of Crystallography in Erice on Molecular Crystal Engineering
