Are you interested in international research opportunities? On 21 June a webinar will take place to present the opportunities that the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme presents for researchers working on collaborations between Ireland and France.

The event will feature presentations the French and Irish national contact points for the MSCA, Eugenia Shadlova of the French Ministry for Higher Education, Research and Innovation and by Dr. Yvonne Halpin of the Irish Universities Association.

The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships call is published once a year. The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships action targets researchers holding a PhD, who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills and develop their careers. The fellowships help researchers to gain experience in other countries, disciplines and the non-academic sector through a research training project with a strong focus on international mobility, aimed at supporting the researcher’s career and fostering excellence in research. For organisations, the fellowships offer the opportunity to host an excellent and world-class researcher for up to 2 years. MSCA funding covers 100% of the researcher’s salary for a period of 2 to 3 years, as well as operating and management costs.

This seminar will be targeted specifically for researchers who are already involved in a research partnership between France and Ireland, e.g. through a project supported by the Ulysses research programme, but also other researchers with an interest in future mobility opportunities. There will be an opportunity for networking with other participants at the seminar following the presentations via a dedicated networking platform.
